Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Course Overview

Canada's rules for transporting dangerous goods are called the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations (i.e. TDG Regulations). Unlike regulations in the United States which only apply to hazardous materials in commerce, Canada's TDG Regulations apply to everyone – even for goods such as gasoline, oxygen and propane for personal use.

This is critical health and safety training for anyone who may handle or transport dangerous goods according to the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act.

Evaluation and Certification

Testing is designed to reinforce the course information. A mark of 80% must be achieved in order to receive a certificate of completion. Participants may repeat the course twice if the passing mark is not achieved.

Upon successful completion of this course, participants are issued a certificate. This certificate is for the sole use and benefits of the Bearer for the purpose of acknowledging that the Bearer has successfully completed the course described and is non-transferable. By signing the front of the certificate, the Bearer further acknowledges, agrees and assumes full responsibility for its use. By completing the course in its entirety and passing the final exam the Bearer fully agrees that he or she understands the information received in the course and any wrongful information given to others and or actions taken are the full responsibility of the Bearer of this certificate, and the course owner is not liable in anyway.

Please note that this training is non-transferable between employers.
