The course consists of 30 hours of guided online study and 70 hours of in-class practice. You will need to complete at least 20 hours of the online material prior to the in-class practice. The program reduces in-class time while effectively providing you with the knowledge and skills necessary to be the first on the scene in an emergency; to help sustain life, reduce pain, and minimize the consequences of injury, trauma, or sudden illness.
Meets requirements for the Emergency Medical Assistants Licensing Board (BC) EMR License application.
