Canadian Labour Code:Part II
Overview
This course outlines Canada’s federal legislative health and safety
framework, and the duties and responsibilities of both employers and employees as
they relate to occupational health and safety.

Objectives
The course is designed to:

Provide information about the Code as a proactive tool for reducing
workplace accidents and occupational illnesses

Enable self-regulation and the internal resolution of occupational
health and safety-related challenges raised by employers and employees
Course
Format
This is a self-paced online course that is
presented in five modules. Participants may
leave and resume the course at any time. The duration will depend on the
participant and their prior knowledge of the subject-matter. Average course
completion time is about 3 – 5 hours.
Evaluation
and Certification
There
is a test at the end of each module. Participants who do not achieve 100% can
review the module content and re-try as necessary to complete the course. Test
questions are randomly selected from a test bank, making each test unique. A
printable certificate is available upon successful completion of the course.
